Benicia High School has formed a Food Co-op Club! Over 50 students signed up at the school’s 2016 Club Fair. It was one of the most successful clubs formed. It really says something that our young student leaders also recognize the value of food cooperatives and show an interest in bringing them to their own communities.
Thank you, Sophie Peregrino, Tatiana Perona and Victoria Kim, governing board for the BHS Food Co-op Club, for stepping up and stepping out to help support our efforts in creating a food co-op in our community!!
We look forward to seeing the fresh faces of our youth around town as we continue to cultivate community.
